What are they? Put simply, most states provide a few days for you to change your mind after a purchase. Check your Agreement. If you are within 5 or even 10 days of your purchase you will likely be able to contact your resort and cancel at no or little cost to you.
Keep in mind: Different states offer different periods and that you should be also consider any State or Federal statutes before you proceed.
2. Sell your timeshare...if you can.
What's it worth? Most timeshares have very little to no resale value as you will see when you look at the listings on sites like eBay. And most people don't want to take on your additional maintenance fees.
Don't get taken. Don't bother with Listing companies that charge upfront fees for listing your timeshare on their market. Your timeshare is likely just one of thousands of others sitting idle on a list...lost in a crowd.
